Situated in the heart of Southern Oregon’s Rogue River Valley, Rural/Metro Fire Department provides fire protection, rescue and first responder medical services to approximately 288 square miles in Josephine County. Rural/Metro’s member subscribers are primarily rural residential.
With a combination of seven fully staffed and satellite stations, and a staff of about 65 talented and dedicated individuals, Rural/Metro Fire Department responds to nearly 3000 calls for service each year in Josephine County.
